On the 22 March 2023 Electric and Pump Services launched our very own local Mini Expo which will continue to be hosted annually at our Offices. Our water week is focused on the awareness of water conservation and clean energy. South Africa\u2019s Water Week campaign comes from the World Water Day which is observed annually on 22 March and focuses its attention on the importance of freshwater and advocating for the sustainable management of freshwater resources.<\/p>\n
World Water Day is spearheaded by the United Nations (UN), using the day as a basis for longer-term action involving governments across the globe. Each year, the UN Water sets a theme for World Water Day which corresponds to a current or future challenge.<\/p>\n
The theme for 2023 is \u201cAccelerating Change\u201d, and seeks to inform policy and decision-makers, inside and outside the water community, how improvements in water resources management as well as access to water supply and sanitation services, are essential to overcoming poverty and addressing various other social and economic inequities.<\/p>\n
Electric and Pump Services partnered with our Industry Experts and showcased: Alternative Energy, Ground Water Importance, German Engineered Wilo Pumps, Water Storage Solutions, Nashua Backup and much more. We had a successful launch of our Annual Water Week Mini Expo with our Partners pulling together and setting up amazing displays of their specialised products in the focus of Water and Energy conservation.<\/p>\n
Our Partners had also sponsored amazing gifts of which we had 3 Lucky Winners. Our Winners and their amazing prizes are as follows:<\/p>\n
